About Birdland Interactive

Birdland Interactive was founded as a shared vision between my father and me.
The name “Birdland” comes from one of his favorite songs — a symbol of freedom, harmony, and connection with nature.
Until his final days, he remained deeply fascinated by birds and by the energy that surrounds all living things.
This project carries his spirit forward and serves as a tribute to his inspiration.

About the Game – DROP: Aviary

DROP: Aviary is set in a distant future where humankind no longer inhabits Earth, but lives among the stars.
To restore life and extract vital resources from their abandoned home, humanity turns to a new form of colonization —
through birdlike beings integrated into drone-based machines.

Players explore and manage island environments where these sentient drones operate autonomously to rebuild ecosystems, establish production chains, and sustain complex economic cycles.
The gameplay combines strategic resource management, automated logistics, and a deck-building system that governs operations and progression.

Technology and Development

The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, utilizing a selection of professional tools, plugins, and assets.
All 3D models, programming, sound design, and final implementation are created entirely by myself.
My background as a Technical Designer and lecturer in Level Design and Unreal Engine workflows allows me to merge technical precision with artistic intent — crafting worlds that feel alive and interconnected.

Release Plan

A Windows release is planned for 2027,
with potential versions for macOS and consoles to follow.
Due to the project’s technical scope, a mobile version is currently not feasible.
